Red/ Blue/ Yellow
There's not much to know about Red/Blue or Yellow, since they are the very first Pokemon games, and quite easy. On Red and Blue you are given the choice of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, while it is the same on Yellow, you are given a Pikachu till you reach a certain point in the game. Instead of the average Team Rocket Grunts, you are tracked mainly by Jessie, James and Meowth. Yellow proves Pikachu to act rather strange, firstly, it refuses to go near a Pokeball, spending its time following you on foot. Second, it can't be evolved. It refuses to touch ThunderStones, and third, there is only one Pikachu in the entire game. You gain all the starter Pokemon as you progress though the game, but if you like Pikachu following you, don't trade them to another game then evolve them. If you hate them then you might as well, since you don't really find wild Raichu. :)
Have Fun! :)
